Open since 2011, Yuzuki Japanese Eatery is a transporting Japanese restaurant that serves pure, authentic dishes with thoughtful saké pairings from owner Yuko Hayashi, all served in a relaxed, minimalist dining room. There are a la carte offerings and $90 for tasting menu for two. Highlights include housemade zaru tofu made from organic soy beans or salmon koshihikari rice served in a large, earthen pot. Housemade desserts are a standout, including ammitsu or agar (or algae jelly) squares in Okinawan black sugar syrup with vanilla ice cream and sweet adzuki beans.
