Celebrity Chef Tyler Florence serves up American cuisine bistro-style at his popular upscale eatery featuring comfort food and rustic delicacies like sweet pea hummus or the Tavern Burger layered with Nicasio reserve cheddar, red onion marmalade and smoked bacon on a brioche bun. Housed in a storied building in a Financial District alley, the Wayfare Tavern combines the rustic feel of a 19th century hunting lodge with Victoriana wallpaper and modern design elements like an open kitchen and chef's counter.
