James Beard-nominated chef Isaac Toups brings his unique slant to Cajun cuisine at Toups Meatery in MidCity. Dishes might include Gulf seafood couvillion packed with fresh-caught fish, shrimp and crab fat rice, roasted lamb neck in a black eye pea ragout or veal sweetbreads poutine with cheddar cheese curds in a green onion gravy.
