Spanish Tapas

  • 83

Inspired by traditional cider houses of Northern Spain, this West Village Spanish taverna from chef/owner Seamus Mullen (Boqueria) offers seasonal tapas and large plates (think smoked pig cheek with quail egg and paella to share) alongside sherry, Catalonian cava and ciders poured from wooden barrels. A large wood-fired oven adds a smoky essence to the brick-walled space where chalkboards above the open kitchen announce the specials of the day.
