Low-lit and inviting, the setting exudes a casual elegance reflected in both the menu and décor. Designed by Grizform Design, the space features elements both rustic and sophisticated – from exposed brick walls and wide plank walnut floors to a custom French pewter bar, Italian leather seating, and European light fixtures. Patrons seated at the (celebrated) bar are treated to art images from the collections of the neighboring National Portrait Gallery and Smithsonian American Art Museum, rotating on plasma screens.
