This discreet downtown fine dining restaurant holds several honors, including being named the only five star restaurant in DC by the Forbes Travel Guide. Plume is situated in The Jefferson hotel, in a setting inspired by Thomas Jefferson’s gardens at Monticello. New American prix fixe and tasting menus change seasonally and feature creative dishes such as beeswax poached king salmon and foie gras terrine with pomegranate, rhubarb and buffalo Mozzarella. Their award-winning wines feature over 1,500 labels including over 30 Madeiras dating back to the 1800’s.
