MOSU serves elevated New American- and Asian-influenced, multi-course tasting menus in an intimate, two-floor space in the Fillmore District. With only a few tables in each tiny dining room, patrons receive focused attention and fine dining, inspired fare from chef/owner Sung Anh (formerly of Benu, The French Laundry), that might include the likes of sea moss and foie gras soup, black sesame tofu stuffed with sea urchin and apple relish and covered in oestra caviar or hairy crab two ways. Sommelier and staff recommended sake, Old World wines, a few thoughtful New World wines and craft beers to pair.
