Overview

Acclaimed Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto opens another location of Morimoto, an upscale Japanese restaurant in Washington Square West with an extensive menu of small plates, sushi and omakase menus. Highlights include the likes of ishi yaki bop (wagyu beef and rice prepared tableside in hot river stone bowl), koji-marinated grilled sea bass with dashi nage or roasted duck breast with confit duck fried rice and mandarin-oolong reduction. In a sleek, modern dining room and spacious lounge and bar, diners imbibe sake, shochu, international wines and house cocktails like the Yuzu Julep (bourbon, yuzu, mint).
