“If it were just fish and chips and chowdah, we'd still be won over. But everything—the hamachi crudo, lobster roll, the ponzu mignonette for the oysters, plump mussels in a steaming red sauce, brandade croquettes—is so incredibly fresh, you'd think you're on one of the coasts.” – Eater Chicago

“The king crab legs presentation is, well, genius. The legs are cut into 2-inch segments, resembling shell-coated crab medallions, and cooked in a bamboo steamer. The steamer's lower section contains orange, kafir lime, lemon and lemongrass, and when the lid is removed at table the fragrance is wonderful (the citrus notes don't penetrate the crab meat; it's strictly an olfactory treat)… Mussels, served in a cast-iron pan set into a hardwood plank, are delicious, as is the roasted-tomato and basil broth supporting them; happily, there are pieces of ciabatta ready to soak up the yummy liquid… Fish tacos — sometimes mahi, sometimes rockfish — benefit from a smoky chipotle aioli slathered onto the corn tortillas, while a sprinkling of powdered chicharron is reminiscent of an exotic sea salt.” – Chicago Tribune

Ambience

Buoy lights, teakwood flooring, and brass-edged tables create an ambience likened, by Chef Tentori, to that of a yacht belonging to a James Bond villain. In the dining room, plush banquettes line one wall beneath a massive chalkboard drawing of a swordfish skeleton. Adding to the nautical charm are oil paintings of stormy seas and place settings which include lead fishing weights atop napkins. In the bar area, a boomerang-shaped table provides communal seating perfect for slurping oysters from the raw bar.
