The house salad, Colors of the Garden, ought to be recast as Technicolors of the Garden, so fetching is the spring bounty of radicchio, asparagus, citrus and field of pansies. Nowhere else is burrata presented as sumptuously as it is here, where the buttery, cream-filled buffalo mozzarella sits in the dimple of a large white plate, ringed in a garden of green and blue herns and petals with basil pesto and wearing the thinnest of croutons. Trabocchi and team also go for Baroque with “Under the Sea”… with prawns, lobster and branzino – plus seared foie gras, sea beans and steamed quinoa – rising from a pool of Parmesan dashi…This is food that dares you not to pay full attention to it.” – Washington Post

Ambience

Luxe finishes and stunning views abound in the elegant 140-seat restaurant, a favorite among the DC jet set. There are four separate dining areas, a long open kitchen, and a marble bar ringed with generous white leather stools. A glass-enclosed veranda offers seating looking out onto the riverfront.
