Overview

Brennan’s pink edifice has a storied past in the French Quarter going back to 1795 when the great-grandfather of painter Edgar Degas erected the building on to its role as a private residence for President Andrew Jackson. This is the restaurant where bananas foster was first created in the 1950’s. James Beard award finalist chef Slade Rushing continues to craft delectable fare such as classic turtle soup or New Orleans BBQ lobster.
