Since 2005, chef Jose Garces has charmed Old City guests with authentic Andalusian tapas at Amada, a convivial Spanish restaurant sporting a chef’s counter with views over an open kitchen and a modern two-room dining room and bar housed in a historic building. Modern Spanish tapas and dishes include the likes of sautéed garlic shrimp, seasoned lamb chops a la plancha or lobster paella with fava beans, squid ink and smoked paprika aioli. Drink offerings include Spanish wines and beer, sangria and house cocktails like the Broken Hugs (grapefruit, reposado, agave).
